- All platforms offer a variety of general arrangements and propulsion options to suit mission requirements
- Successfully implemented lightweight resin infusion construction technology into a production facility previously accustomed to only conventional open molding techniques
- Developed and employed modular tooling concepts and shared hull platforms in order to maximize the number of product platforms offered in light of limited annual tooling budgets

- Responsibilities include hull, deck, small part and vendor part design from concept up to and including 3-D CAD file development for input to 5-axis and 3-axis milling machines
- Responsible for all naval architecture including hull design, hydrostatic & hydrodynamic analysis of hull forms, and performance prediction

Senior Naval Architect/Design Engineer 1997 – 2007
- Design & engineering of 42 new sport fishing boat models ranging from 11 to 34 feet in length
- Produced hull forms providing a softer, drier ride than the models they replaced
- Responsible for the design and three-dimensional surface modeling of hulls, decks, hull liners & small parts for input to 5-axis milling machines or for communication to in-house tooling personnel
- Responsible for all naval architecture including hull design, hydrostatic & hydrodynamic analysis of hull forms, performance prediction, mechanical layouts, and mechanical design of inboard propulsion systems
- Engineered & enhanced the structural integrity of Boston Whaler’s unique foam core construction for effective and reliable implementation on larger boats
- Lead engineer and project manager for Boston Whaler’s revolutionary and proprietary Active Deck Suspension System (ADSS), a system for reducing impact loads on vessel occupants in rough seas
- Performed model testing of proposed hull forms to determine the most efficient hull design as well as to determine horsepower requirements for required cruise speeds
